STA was proud to welcome Brian Roberts as part of our continued virtual “Tech Talks” events this Fall! In 2014, Brian Roberts joined Lyft where he currently acts as the company’s CFO and was instrumental in taking Lyft public. Prior to Lyft, Roberts served as a Senior Vice President at Walmart, leading their M&A Strategy for eCommerce. Brian has extensive experience in Banking and Technology, having served as a Senior Managing Director at Evercore and a Corporate Vice President of Corporate Development at Microsoft in addition to time spent at Lazard and Inktomi. Brian currently sits on the board of Fred Hutch.

Brian shared the path that led him to Lyft, his experiences and insights from working in the Finance and Technology sectors, and his thoughts on the changing landscape for transportation and mobility, among other topics.
