Al is a professional board director and technology investor. Al is an executive advisor at Siris Capital Group, a private equity firm. He entered the firm as an Executive Partner in 2014. Al retired from IBM following a 34-year career. Al has held general manager roles for IBM Tivoli Software, IBM iSeries and Lotus Software. He was responsible for the executive leadership, strategy, and P&Ls. Al is a board member of BNY Mellon, Nasdaq, PSEG, GCOM Software, and IBM. Al previously served as Executive Chairman of Intralinks and Pulse Secure, and as a board member of Stratus Technologies, Red Hat, Chubb Corporation, and Carnegie Speech Corporation.
